Honestly. What separates Christians from the rest of the world?

What can/should we be doing differently?

We are so scared to be viewed as “different” half the time that we don’t fully take into consideration that being a christian, a follower of Christ, that we are 100% representing him where ever we go in what ever we do. All the time! Whether we want to or not. I think when we are with other Christians it’s like ok, I can totally talk about God and be someone who I know I’m supposed to be around people that Know what their supposed to be so that we can all look like were walking the walk. But what happens when we get out into the world? I know we’re always in the world. But I mean when we actually are with people that don’t follow God, or that just don’t care, all that stuff. What happens to us then? I think we pick and choose when is a good time to “act” in Gods name or not. To be of the world.

The truth of the matter is. We will never be of the world. The moment those words that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your lord as savior leave your lips you have died to the world.

John 15:19 says, 19(A) If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because(B) you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Honestly, that’s pretty intense. The world HATES you. In my opinion, that’s how it will always be. The moment we start trying to be of the world is the moment we fall. We have to fight a battle that we are causing. It’s not easy to give up worldly things. To fully give yourself to God. If it was easy I think we would be perfect and sinless. But that’s not gonna happen anytime soon.

So what side is your heart on is what I think this comes down to.
